Jean Brewer - Executive Director

Jean joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. July 1, 1994. She originally held the position of Administrative Recruitment Manager until 1999 when the Board promoted her to the position of Program Director. In January of 2000, the Board promoted her again to the position of Executive Director. Jean writes all of the grants for the RSVP and oversees all staff members who write grants for other projects. She has an AA Degree in Office Management and a BA Degree with double emphasis in Human Resource Management and Office Administration. Jean completed a yearlong Executive Leadership training course with Community Resource Center in Denver in 2003.

   
       
 
 

Amber Hodges - Office Manager

Amber joined Mesa County RSVP in August 2012, as the office Administrative Assistant. August 2013, Amber was promoted to Office Manager. She has a BBA Degree in Finance, Economics and Management. Amber worked for Habitat for Humanity as the Restore Volunteer Coordinator and then the Program Coordinator.

   
       
 
    

Ruth McCrea - SHIP & Handyman Manager

Ruth joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. November 2007, as a part time employee at 20 hours per week. On July 1, 2008, Ruth agreed to become the manager of a new project called SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Assistance Project) and continue in her position as the RSVP Volunteer Manager and became a full-time employee. Ruth has a BA in Studio Art and Mass Communications. Ruth has 2 years of experience as an AmeriCorps Volunteer. Her first AmeriCorps year she worked at a school working with children and the second year she was the volunteer coordinator for the Counseling and Education Center.






Diane Barger — Volunteer Manager:

Diane joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in August 2014. She brings with her 20+ years of experience in volunteer management. Diane has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree and received her CVA (Certified Volunteer Administrator) in 2010. She helped develop the RMHP Volunteer Time Bank and worked as the Director of Volunteer Services for HopeWest Hospice for many years.
