Key Personnel and Qualifications

Jean Brewer - Executive Director

Jean Brewer - Executive DirectorJean joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in July of 1994. She originally held the position of Administrative Recruitment Manager until 1999 when she was promoted to the position of Program Director. In January of 2000, she was promoted again to the position of Executive Director. Jean has an AA Degree in Office Management and a B.A. Degree with double emphasis in Human Resource Management and Office Administration. Jean completed a year-long Executive Leadership training course with Community Resource Center in Denver in 2003.

 

Aleta Ballard - Office Manager 1

Aleta Ballard July 9, 2009Aleta joined Mesa County RSVP, Inc. in August of 1999. She has AAS Degrees in Graphic Technology and Legal Assistance. She originally was hired as the Administrative Assistant and the additional title of Handyman Coordinator was added in 2000 when her job duties were expanded. In October 2006 she was promoted to the position of Office Manager. March 26, 2012, Aleta chose to cut her hours to half time for health reasons.

 

 

Jeanne Fox - Office Manager 2

Jeanne Fox Jeanne Fox Joined the RSVP Office on March 26, 2012 as a part-time Office Manager in a job sharing position with Aleta Ballard.  She graduated from Regis College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree.  She likes spending time with friends and family, playing golf, reading going to movies and working on staying healthy through exercise and health eating.

 

 

Ruth McCrea - Volunteer and SHIP Project Manager

Ruth McCreaRuth McCrea joined RSVP on November 12, 2007 to fill the Volunteer Managers Position.  She just recently finished her second year as an AmeriCorps volunteer.  She worked at the Counseling and Education Center for the past year as the Volunteer Coordinator there.  She has a BA in Fine Arts and a minor in Mass Communications.  She is a potter, painter, and printer.  Ruth manages the volunteers for RSVP, and in 2008, Ruth took on additional duties as the SHIP Project Manager.

 

Marsha Kearns - Project Manager for Handyman, Senior Scholar and MSMP

Marsha KearnsMarsha joined RSVP on July 1, 2011 to fill both the Handyman and Senior Scholar Project Coordinator positions.  At the beginning of September 2011, Marsha took on the MSMP Program in conjunction with Handyman and Senior Scholar.  She has had her own business as an independent contractor as a consultant and copywriter doing communications, fundraising, marketing and educational publishing.  She has a BS in Education with a Secondary Spanish Lifetime Teaching Certificate.
