Handyman Project Coordinator -
Would you like to use your construction or handyman experience to help manage a nonprofit home-repair project for people who are low-income elderly and/or disabled? You will be able to help organize a team of volunteers who fix faucets, build wheelchair ramps, put in grab bars, do minor carpentry work, etc. Public speaking, public relations, home repair knowledge, good computer skills needed. Background check and references required. Some grant writing experience needed or be willing to learn to write grants. The position is part-time, 20 hours per week. Our offices are open Monday through Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-4.
